Free · Your base pattern

Your base pattern, how life tends to organize itself for you.

Same chart your grandmother's astrologer would read, translated into what actually matters for you: where you're strong, where you're stretched, what your life keeps circling back to. No horoscopes, no predictions.

This page is the instrument, everything here is timeless. The music, eras, chapters, today's sky, lives on Rhythm.

The method

How this Vedic birth chart is calculated

Every position on this page is sidereal, using the Lahiri ayanamsa, the standard for classical Jyotish. Your date, exact time and place of birth fix the ascendant to the degree, the time zone is resolved from the place and date rather than typed in, and each reading line traces back to a specific placement in a classical Parashari rule bank instead of being written once for everyone.

What your chart shows

Rising sign, your Lagna

The sign lifting over the eastern horizon at your birth. It sets house one, and every other house is counted from it.

Planetary placements

Where the seven planets and the two lunar nodes sit by sign and house, with dignity and retrogradity noted.

Planetary strengths

Which planets can actually deliver, and which are working uphill, so the reading is weighted rather than flat.

House promises

What each of the twelve houses is set up to give in your life, read from its lord and its occupants.

Your current dasha

The dated chapter you are living in now, calculated from the exact longitude of your Moon.

Soul blueprint

The chara karakas, including your Atmakaraka, the planet at the highest degree in your chart.

Why the birth time matters

A new sign rises roughly every two hours, so an hour of error can move your ascendant and rewrite the houses. Your Moon sign and nakshatra hold up without a precise time, but the rising sign, the house placements and your dasha period dates all need it. Start with your best estimate, then refine it.
